Drop-in Classes.

Our drop-in classes don’t require any membership or commitment, but please do pre-register to attend. We offer Beginner Bootcamps for newbies & weekly TangoFit + virtual classes for all levels.

TangoFit

All Levels

SUNDAYS 5-6 PM

An hour of Tango drills and exercises to help us develop our own movement, becoming the best dancers we can be.

Please wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in and not excessively baggy. The alignment of the hips and waist should be easy to see. If wearing dresses or skirts please wear leggings underneath.

You can take the class in socks, ballet slippers or tango shoes.

 

Beginner Bootcamp Intensive.

Beginner / All Levels

February 4 @11am-2pm

Join us for an introduction to the beautiful art of dancing Argentine Tango! This workshop is a summary of the first 4 weeks of our TANGO 100 program, and prepares new students to jump into the ongoing session.

After taking this class, you can join us in the ongoing Tango 100 program to dive deeper into tango’s technique, vocabulary, and nuance.

$45/person

  • Please wear comfortable clothes that allows you to move your legs freely. No pencil skirts or super skinny jeans! 

  • Please wear low-heeled, comfortable shoes with a closed toe. If you already have some type of dance shoes; (character shoes, ballroom shoes etc.) those are fine to wear! Leather soles are preferable, but you can also get by in sneakers with a hard rubber sole like Puma, Converse or Tom's shoes. If you have no suitable shoes, socks will do just fine!   • Please park in designated spots in the gated parking lot, or on the street.

MONDAYS 7-8 PM

Join us live via ZOOM, for an hour of Tango drills and exercises including a 15min strength & stretch break. Doing solo exercises help us develop our own movement so that when we dance with a partner, everything feels and works better.

Get set up for class! This is what you need:

• Your computer or phone (bigger screen=better view)

• Water for hydration💦

• A space in your home where you can take a few steps in each direction & a floor that allows you to pivot

• Comfy clothes, your (flat) dance shoes or some good socks

• A small towel

TangoStretch on Zoom

All Levels

SUNDAYS 9:30-10.30 AM

This course is intended to STRETCH your capacity as a tango dancer, both literally and metaphorically. It will involve various balance, stretching, and strengthening exercises that support healthy and sustainable movement.

Get set up for class! This is what you need:

• Your computer or phone (bigger screen=better view)

• Water for hydration💦

• A space in your home where you can take a few steps in each direction & a floor that allows you to pivot

• Comfy clothes, your (flat) dance shoes or some good socks

• A small towel
