  • open right shoulder and get back during the americana
  • don't lift free foot in the ochos/pivots
  • complete pivot before doing the pasada
  • make sure side step is open and hips parallel with leader's hips
  • complete pivot before back step
  • slide the arm down to the bicep during the pasada on the open side of the embrace - flexible embrace
